Public Awareness and Educational Activities
MBF strongly believes in engaging the public through education and outreach activities to encourage greater understanding, appreciation, and support of the challenge of monarch conservation.
We have a long history of engagement with a variety of environmental education activities. MBF supports environmental education in schools and communities local to the overwintering sites, workshops for local ejidatarios and Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve Guides. Other public awareness activities include signage or support for educational displays directed toward tourists in the Reserve.
